The Hampton Roads Chassis Pool II was established to provide the highest quality of service to all Users of the Port of Hampton Roads.

HRCP II will offer systematic maintenance of chassis with the goal of providing safe and economical chassis for use in the Hampton Roads area of operation.

By using economies of scale, the HRCP II will stabilize maintenance and repair costs while improving and maintaining the equipment to the stated standards. This means efficiencies and cost savings for the member lines, terminal operators, port stevedores, and trucking companies. Through these efficiencies, the Hampton Roads Chassis Pool will require fewer assets and less positioning to provide directed emphasis on cargo movement rather than chassis.
